Heen Bovitiya (Osbeckia octandra)

Osbeckia is a sort of plants of flowers of the Melastomataceae family. It was named by Carolus Linnaeus to honor to the explorer and Swedish naturalist Pehr Osbeck (1723-1805).

Osbeckias is native of the South and east of Asia - Sri lanka , India, Chinese, Japan, Malaysia and Australasia. Some species are being investigated like remedies herbarios.
